IN THE FIELD OF SOCIAL WELFARE
Coaching classes have been looked upon a money minting industry since the corporates have invaded it in the late 2000’s but Vishusir is an exception to this. He always practiced and preached that every individual must return back to the society whatever he has earned. He follows the basic principle of – “Do not think what the society has given to you, think what have you done for the society??” Being a NCC cadet during college days, serve the society principle was running in the blood. Apart from teaching thousands of poor students for no fee or concessional fee, Vishusir organizes regular blood donation camp every year at his library for the past 17 years and also plays a vital role in helping arrangement of blood camps for various other social organisations interested in arranging camps. He is also associated with many blood donors group and tries to arrange blood as per requirement throughout Mumbai.
His vision of a reading room materialized into reality with the formation of V. K. Memorial Welfare Association alongwith family and friends. This concept of a reading room for students is a big hit not only in Kalyan East East but Institute of Chartered Accountants of India have taken this concept to next level establishing such reading rooms all over Mumbai. The idea was shared by him and he is available any time for anyone to share his thoughts and vision with any well wisher for such noble work. Vishusir works closely with Youth Urja Foundation for collecting relief materials Kerala floods and ensured that the materials reached needy people. Also as a member of YUF, he collected books and participated in the library project of YUF. Yuva Mayuresh Pratishthan is yet another association wherein Vishusir is an active member and occupies the place of “Guide”. His students have formed this association and their flagship project “Diwali Pahat” in Vijaynagar is known amongst the locals for the way it is conducted. He is involved in water conservation projects, tree plantation, saving the ecological system. Also many ganpati mandals, navratri mandals are directly or indirectly associated with him and he ensures that he is able to help them in the best possible manner.
SOCIAL WORK DONE :
• Blood Donor :– 12 times from the age of 18 yrs to 25 years being NCC cadet during college days
• Blood donation camp organizer :– Organises blood donation camp once during October each year and helps people who needs blood during the year. Also helps many organisations to arrange such camps. Tries to arrange blood for the needy people to the best of the abilities
• V.K. Memorial Welfare Association :– Formed this trust in 2006 and through it runs a library and reading room spread over 2000 sq. ft carpet area for the benefit of student community. More than 5000 students take advantage of this facility.
• Tree plantation and Water conservation :– Projects which are need of the day are undertaken by this VKMWA regularly
• Kerala Flood relief materials :– VKMWA alongwith many social organisations collected things needed at kerala and Vishusir personally took charge to ensure that things reached proper place on time.
• Youth Urja Foundation :– Vishusir is an active member of the group and participated in projects of Kerala relief fund, Library project undertaken by this youth group spread all over Mumbai
• Yuva Mayuresh Pratisthan :– ‘Diwali Pahat’ ‘Eco Holi’ “Water for Sparrow” are some of the projects undertaken by this organisation and Vishusir is a ‘Sallagaar’ as this NGO is formed by his students
• Asha Foundation :– An NGO which trains specially abled children to live normal life. Qualified teachers take maximum efforts for teaching such children and schools for training them. Vishu sir is an active member of this organisation.
