Every year annual function is celebrated with great enthusiasm. It has in its manifold, 2 aspects – formal and informal.
The formal function is the Prize Distribution ceremony wherein a reputed personality in the field of academics is invited as a chief guest and the prize winners based on certain category of marks achieved in the previous year are felicitated. Parents of such winners are also invited and the program ends with lunch or dinner for all the invitees. The toppers of each division viz)XI to TY.B.com are felicitated along with their parents on stage as the contribution of parents is enormous in the overall success of the students. The idea is to inculcate the importance of parents in the life of every student. Amongst the panel of chief guest, parents of Vishusir occupy the chair and felicitate many students each year. The learning are not only students but it is practiced within the organisation since its inception.
The informal function includes entertainment programs by the students. As mentioned earlier the entire thought process of the conduct of the event is planned by a bunch of volunteers who come ahead for management of the event. They are guided and helped by the staff and teachers of Heramb very enthusiastically. The students who form the core committee of ‘Udaan’ enjoy their stay after regular lectures and develop an informal bonding with the teachers. They enjoy this process each year very happily. A simple concept of imparting education with entertainment - #edutainment. Personalilty development is a byproduct of the entire process.Students wait for this event to happen eagerly every year.
