➢ Which colleges teach CA course?

CA is a specialized course instituted by Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).

There is no college or University which undertakes registration for CA course. A student has to register at Branches of the Institute of CA

➢ Is there minimum Percentage criteria for registering for CA Foundation?

There is no minimum percentage for admission for CA Foundation.

➢ What languages can CA Foundation exams be given?

Students have a choice to give CA Foundation Exams in English or Hindi Medium.

➢When are exams for CA Foundation conducted

CA Foundation Exams are conducted twice in a year i.e. in May and November.

➢ How much marks are needed to clear CA Foundation exams

Candidates need to attain a minimum of 40% marks in every subject and a minimum of 50% of the aggregate of marks in all subjects.

➢What is the paper pattern of CA Foundation examination

  • In CA Foundation Two Subjects are Objective Paper and Two Subjects are of Subjective Pattern.
  • Paper 1 and 2 are subjective and Paper 3 and 4 are Objective type.
  • There is a 0.25 Negative Marking for every wrong answer of an objective question.
  • ➢How many times a student can attempt for CA Foundation Exams?

    A Student can attempt for 3 years i.e. can give for 6 attempts for CA Foundation Exams.

    ➢Is it necessary to have Maths as Optional Subject at XII to pursue CA?

    No, definitely not.

    Any student who has taken Maths as optional subject has an advantage but students who chose SP as optional subject can look forward for pursuing CA as a career too.

    ➢ If a Student has appeared for XI exams in March 2020,can he provisionally register for Foundation Course?

    No, for provisional registration to the Foundation course, it is necessary that the candidate has completed class 12th, has been allotted admit card and/or has appeared in one or more papers in the months of February/March in the Senior Secondary (10+2) Examination
