FAQ 12th Admission

Admission for XII Commerce starts from on 25th October (Foundation Day of Heramb) every year.

The 2 Vacation batches starts from 1st April every year.
3 Regular Batches starts in staggered format –

• 1st Batch and 2nd Batch – 1st May
• 3rd Batch – 15th May

For securing admission in Vacation batch, the student must have scored 80% or more in SSC or above 75% in XI 1st semester exam (if he/she has scored less than 80% in SSC)

We teach all subjects for XII Commerce – English, Hindi/Marathi/IT, OC, SP/Maths, Economics and Book-keeping & Accountancy.

No, we offer entire package for students of XII Commerce as all subjects are equally important for all students.

A student can shift from XI Mathematics to XII SP. However, the other way shifting is not possible.
As far as 2nd language is concerned, no such shifting is allowed.

No, Integrated schemes are illegal and Heramb does not support the same.

Yes, bringing along parents during enquiry for admissions will help them understand the entire process of Admission as well as other systems at place at Heramb. Also, it will build a good rapport between Parents and Vishusir (Founder of Heramb)

As mentioned earlier, there are 2 Vacation Batches and 3 Regular Batches for HSC students at XII Boards

Vacation batches are run mainly in the month of April and May for 8 hours a day. For Regular batches, we have 2 morning batches – 7am to 9am and 8am to 10am. Also, we have 1 evening batch from 7pm to 9pm.

For Vacation batch - 60% syllabus are completed during that time itself. And remaining 40% syllabus are completed during the months of June to December.

For Regular Batch – 30% syllabus is covered during May by taking extra lectures. Remaining 70% syllabus is covered in the months from June to December

Each batch has different batch size. Minimum 50 students are enrolled in each batch for effective control and communication.

For XII apart from Chapter wise test, we provide Unit Test (30 marks) plus Semester exams (50 marks) and 3 preliminary exams for practice

All exams are conducted online through a systematic process. Students are provided login and password to appear for the exam and once they write their answer papers, they have to upload the same within the scheduled time.

HSC boards are 2nd most important exams for any student after their SSC exams. HSC exams prove to be turning point in the life of many students. Those who fail to do well at SSC level can definitely improve their performance level and those who have done well can maintain it or improve there from.

Being Board exam, the pattern is fixed and so many exam papers are predicted to perfection by our experienced teachers.

To excel in life, HSC Boards play a crucial role. With proper teachers for guidance, they can perform better than the best!!!

Career Counselling lectures will be conducted in the month of January every year. This gives target for students to give their best shot at Board Exams.

Even after exams conclude, we conduct Career Counselling lectures for them.

Finally, after results are declared, a Final round of Counselling is done and they are guided for Courses to choose and also, at this time, Admission process for various courses conducted by Mumbai University are explained to them.

Yes, we do provide Notes for better preparation of students for Board Exams. Our teacher give them dictation notes during lectures but for preparation, they are provided standard reference materials apart from Text books.

After completing 12th Commerce, there are diploma courses available in every field of education. Some of the most common ones are Diploma in Hotel management, Diploma in various Computer courses – Software and Hardware, Diploma in communication skills, Diploma in Personality Development, Diploma in Public Speaking.

Definitely student should go for Degree Course only based on this choice. However, he or she must pursue Diploma course for value addition in CV after completion of degree course.
